Our trainings teach how the film business works. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice. Shondrella and our team are not your lawyer, agent, manager, distributor, sales agent or financial advisor, and taking a training or booking a call doesn't make us one. Talk to a lawyer and an accountant before you sign a deal or put money into a film.
We don't promise income, funding, distribution, a sale, a return on money you spend, or any other result. What we teach can give your project a better shot. It can't make it a success. Whether a film gets made, funded, sold, placed on a platform or earns money depends on many things we don't control: how good the film and script are, the cast, the budget, timing, the market and what platforms choose to buy.
Shondrella's credits and the films we talk about are real. They are her experience, not a promise of what will happen for you. Results like hers are not typical. Yours will be different.
You alone decide what you make, sign, spend or invest. You take on the risk of those choices, including losing money. Never put money into a film that you can't afford to lose.
We don't offer, sell or recommend any investment. Nothing in our trainings, calls or materials is an offer to buy or sell securities, or an invitation to invest in any film, including films we have worked on.
Answers in a live Q&A, project reviews, notes on your materials and calls with our team are general opinions based on what you tell us. They are not a full review of your deal, contract or project. You decide whether to use them.
Each ticket is for one person. All ticket sales are final. No refunds. Your join link is just for you, so please don't share it. Your ticket includes the replay, which is up until Friday, Nov 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. If we have to move the live date, your ticket moves to the new date and you still get the replay.
The two-day program is non-refundable. The dates may move. If the dates don't work for you, your seat moves to the next group. Seats can't be resold or given away without our okay. If you pay over time with Affirm, Affirm's terms apply, and you owe the full amount even if you miss a session.
Live sessions may be recorded. If you speak, turn on your camera or type in the chat, that may show up in the recording and the replay. Calls with our team may be recorded too, as our Privacy Policy explains.
Our videos, slides, templates and other materials belong to us. Use them for your own projects. Don't copy, share, resell or post them.
Your ideas and projects stay yours. Sharing your project in a session doesn't give us any rights to it. Group sessions aren't private, so don't share anything you need kept secret.
We may name or show platforms, studios, festivals and titles to explain how the business works, or to show work Shondrella has been part of. That doesn't mean those companies sponsor or endorse our trainings.

Our trainings and materials are provided as is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from choices you make using what you learned from us, including money spent on or put into a film, or for indirect or lost-profit damages. Our total responsibility to you is never more than what you paid us.
If you have a problem with us, email [email protected] first. We'll both try to work it out within 30 days before either of us goes to court.
These terms follow California law. Any dispute goes to the courts in Los Angeles County, California.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top.
